How To Use CloudWeaver
CloudWeaver building blocs – Network Creator, Provisioning Engine and Resource Agents – work together to simplify the life of both DevOps and ITOps.
With CloudWeaver ITOps transform in a few hours an infrastructure-oriented IT into a service-oriented IT.
IT users and DevOps benefit from the flexibility of dynamic resource provisioning combined with the power of Cloud Network Control to optimize application delivery and minimize IT costs.
Five steps to specify, deploy, monitor and control your Cloud Network with CloudWeaver

1. Discover the virtual resource service
When plugged in a Data center, CloudWeaver automatically deploys a set of agents to control the virtual resources. Virtual resources and topology are then automatically discovered and abstracted in a catalog of resource service.
2. Create virtual infrastructure templates
CloudWeaver provides a network editor to let you create networks of heterogeneous resources. With Network Creator you select one by one virtual resources such as virtual machines or virtual switches. For each of them, you define specific attributes, integrate a software image and define associated performance metrics. You then interconnect the resource to other resources with virtual links you characterize with bandwidth, latency or security attributes.
3. Deploy your application and run as a network of resources
Select a predefine virtual infrastructure template. Adapt the template to your project, define uptime as well as performance goals. Click on the deploy button. CloudWeaver processes your request and instantiates virtual resources with pre-installed images. CloudWeaver automatically configures the virtual network. In few minutes, your application is deployed and ready to use.
4. Analyze and optimize your virtual infrastructure
During the execution you can watch the aggregated or detailed capacity utilization. Multiple short term deployments can be tested quickly and be easily adapted before long runs. CloudWeaver automates infrastructure reconfiguration, deployments and analysis of virtual networks.
4. Monitor your deployments in production
CloudWeaver delivers execution results through a high-level dashboard with detailed metrics for in-depth analysis. Report and topology snapshots can be delivered on demand.
